Course Overview:

• Participants will learn the basics of sewing to create their own custom throw cushions. Whether you're a beginner or have some sewing experience, this course is designed to help you design and craft stylish cushions to enhance your home decor.

• Measuring and cutting fabrics

• Sewing machine basics and safety

• Sewing your cushion cover with a zipper

• Location: At our Bellambi Workshop 2518

• Instructor: Britta de Laat, upholsterer and timber restoration specialist

• Prerequisites: No prior experience required, but basic DIY skills are helpful.

• Materials: All necessary tools and materials will be provided. (Excluding fabric)

• Bring: One 1m of fabric or purchase either from us. This can be lightweight, do not use velvet, vinyl or leather ( non suitable for beginners)

Course Length: 2.5 hours. 

Skill level: Beginners, No previous knowledge required.
